All facilitated by an exclusive LGBTQ Namibian operator, this trip will rock your world!

Day 1

Arrival in Windhoek

On arrival in Windhoek, you will be collected from the airport on arrival and transferred to a centrally located Guesthouse. In the afternoon the adventure begins with an Ancient San Skills tour where you will learn some of the skills of the Bushman people, a unique chance to interact with the world’s oldest cultural group.

Returning to Windhoek in the early evening, dinner tonight is own expense either at Chameleon, or one of the many restaurants.

Overnight twin share room with en-suite facilities.

Day 2

Halali, Etosha National Park

After an early breakfast and check out, we hit the road for Etosha.

The drive is approximately 4½ hours, so we still stop for lunch in Otjiwarongo. As we enter Etosha National Park, through the Anderson Gate, the Namibian Safari begins immediately with a game drive across the park, arriving at the lodge just before sunset.

The camp is in the heart of the Etosha National Park with a floodlit waterhole next to the camp. Twin share double rooms with en-suite bathroom facilities. Dinner is prepared by your guide and an early night is recommended.

[Meals included: Breakfast, Snack pack, Dinner]

Day 3

Ethosha Village

We wake for a pre-sunrise snack with tea/coffee and then game drive until mid-morning. Breakfst will be at the camp and then we head out for another game drive, visiting many waterholes and on to Halali for a picnic lunch.

After lunch we visit the mighty Etosha Pan (the largest salt pan in Namibia) before driving across the park in our quest to find the big 4 as well as all the plain’s game. We arrive at Okaukuejo in the late afternoon and leave the park prior to sunset, visiting one last waterhole to worship another African sunset.

Tonight’s accommodation is twin share permanent tents with en-suite bathroom facilities located just outside the park. Dinner is prepared by your guide over the camp fire.
[Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner]

Day 4

An early morning breakfast before departing from the lodge to Swakopmund. A lengthy but magnificent drive for about 4½ hours, via the Damaraland where we will see the communal farmers in this arid region. The next stop is at the Ugab River bridge to visit with the beautiful Herero ladies who sell their beautiful art and craft items to support their families.

We will have lunch in the shadow of the Brandberg Mountain, and a short visit with a Himba group who moved into this area to sell their jewellery and other items.

After lunch we head directly through the Namib Desert and stop at the latest shipwreck on the Skeleton Coast before arriving in the late afternoon in Swakopmund.

You will have some time to explore the seaside town on foot this afternoon and perhaps visit the jetty for sundowners overlooking the cold Atlantic Ocean.

We will be happy to recommend a good restaurant for your evening meal (own expense).

[Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch]

Day 5

Deset Camp, Sesriem

After breakfast you can join an optional activity such as the sand boarding which takes you into the coastal dune fields, or explore many of the other wonderful opportunities on offer in Swakopmund.

A safari vehicle will leave Swakopmund at 12h00 and drive you via Kuiseb Pass and Gaub Pass, stopping for a leg stretch at the Tropic of Capricorn, before continuing on to Solitaire and our camp.

We arrive at our camp late afternoon and have a chance to relax and enjoy the views before taking a short walk for sunset looking over the Naukluft mountain range.

Overnight is based in twin rooms or permanent tents with en-suite bathroom facilities.

Dinner prepared by your guide.

[Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner included]

Day 6

We depart at dawn from the lodge to arrive at the park gate for sunrise. We drive down an ancient river bed surrounded by towering dunes where we will switch vehicles from a 2x4 to a 4x4.

We then shuttle into the Sossusvlei area and head into Dead Vlei with its large expanse of bleached cracked clay and skeletal camel thorn trees, contrasting with a backdrop of huge dunes with their ever-changing colours.

After a hike we head to Sossusvlei and enjoy a tasty brunch prepared by your guide to give you energy to climb and explore the famed Sossusvlei Dunes. We explore this unique area on foot before catching the 4x4 shuttle back to our vehicle.

As we drive back to our accommodation we will stop at the famous Dune 45 and climb this dune if we wish or just wander around the base. We return to Sesriem and visit the nearby Sesriem Canyon, one of the few permanent water sources before arriving back at our lodge late afternoon to watch the sunset over this spectacular desert.

Overnight in twin share rooms or permanent tents with en-suite bathrooms. Dinner prepared by your guide.
